What’s new in FareOS — and what’s on the way

Every capability below carries an honest status. Live means it is deployed to production; In development means it is built or being built and is released to clients one at a time.

Statuses reviewed 17 October 2026

Live now

Shipped and in production

Deployed and in use in production.

Agency network

Live

Airline-system control per agency

Choose which distribution systems — Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre or NDC — each agency can search and book through. A blocked system is refused at search and review, so an agency never sells from a source you have switched off.

Since Oct 2026

Suppliers

Live

IndiGo via IATA NDC

IndiGo is now reachable through IATA NDC alongside the existing IndiGo connection, so agencies can reach IndiGo content through either route.

Since Sep 2026

Suppliers

Live

flydubai direct

A direct flydubai connection covering search, hold and ticketing, with seats, baggage and reissue handling in the same wallet-safe flow as every other supplier.

Since Jul 2026

Suppliers

Live

flyadeal direct

A direct flyadeal connection that shows the full set of branded fare bundles in search and booking, with reissue support.

Since Aug 2026

Built or being built, released client by client

Built and running in our development environment; released to clients one at a time.

Agency network

Agency network

In development

Branches, distributors and sub-agents

Model a head office with distributors, sub-agents and branches. Branch staff see only their own bookings, and distributors can top up their sub-agents’ wallets.

Since Oct 2026

Agency network

In development

Safer agent sign-in

Restrict agent sign-in to approved IP addresses, lock out repeated failed attempts, and let agents sign in with an Agent ID instead of an email address.

Since Oct 2026

Agency network

In development

Duplicate booking warning

Agents are warned before they book the same passenger on the same flight twice, which avoids paid duplicate tickets.

Since Oct 2026

Agency network

In development

Alerts for refunds, reissues and credit

Automatic notifications when a refund or reissue is processed or an agent nears their credit limit, with WhatsApp and SMS available for booking messages.

Since Oct 2026

Agency network

In development

Full audit trail

See who changed what and when, with old and new values and sign-in history, on a single “All Changes” screen.

Since Oct 2026

Pricing & accounting

Pricing & accounting

In development

Layered pricing

Set your own markup and a per-ticket platform fee, let agents add theirs, and each agent sees only their own cost and selling price.

Since Oct 2026

Pricing & accounting

In development

Built-in accounting ledger

Every booking, payment, refund and void posts to a double-entry ledger per client, with gap-free invoice numbers, so you no longer depend on outside tools. Exports to your accounting system stay available.

Since Oct 2026

Pricing & accounting

In development

Prices in your own currency

Supplier fares are converted into your client’s base currency, with the quote pinned at review so the price an agent sees is the price that is charged. In early testing.

Since Oct 2026

Pricing & accounting

In development

Reports and exports

Ticket report, profit-margin report, failure report and agent performance, filterable by agent, with spreadsheet, PDF and refund exports.

Since Oct 2026

Search & booking

Search & booking

In development

Search results that never jump

Results stay in place as they stream in, so an agent never loses the fare they were about to click.

Since Oct 2026

Search & booking

In development

Smarter duplicate removal and ranking

Identical flights offered by several suppliers are merged and ranked on the server, without slowing the search down. Built, not yet switched on for any client.

Since Oct 2026

Search & booking

In development

Shareable fare options

Agents can send a customer a link to a short list of fare options they have picked, instead of copying prices into a message.

Since Sep 2026

RefundMithra

RefundMithra

In development

RefundMithra, standalone or inside FareOS

Reads an airline’s cancellation fare-rule text and returns the cancellation charges per passenger type, including no-show, GST and RAF, in your currency. Designed to be sold on its own or as part of a FareOS plan. Not yet deployed.

Since Oct 2026

Global readiness

Global readiness

In development

Country-neutral routing

Domestic versus international is decided from each airport’s country and the client’s base country, with no assumption that every client is in India. Phone-code and passport rules follow the same logic. Partly released.

Since Oct 2026

Platform

Platform

In development

Each client’s data kept apart

Many clients can share one platform safely: each client’s data is separated and checked at the entry point and again inside every database.

Since Oct 2026

Platform

In development

Per-client feature switches

New capabilities are turned on for one client at a time, so a problem with one rollout never affects another client.

Since Oct 2026

Platform

In development

Admin and settings per client

Each client’s administrators manage their own users, roles and wallet settings — and only their own.

Since Oct 2026

Platform

In development

Order-based bookings (IATA ONE Order)

Bookings move to the airline industry’s order standard, which makes changes, refunds and adding new suppliers simpler.

Since Oct 2026

Platform

In development

Shared hosting with one-step onboarding

New clients can start on shared infrastructure with a one-file setup instead of a separate stack each. Not yet live.

Since Oct 2026

Platform

In development

FareOS mobile apps

Mobile apps for agents and for travellers, built to run on both iOS and Android.

About this page

How to read these statuses

What does “In development” mean?add

The capability is built, or being built, and runs in our development environment. It is released to clients one at a time rather than to everyone at once, so it is not yet generally available. “Live” means it is deployed to production.

Can my agency get a capability that is still in development?add

Possibly. New capabilities are switched on per client, so a rollout never affects other clients. Tell us in a platform review which capability matters to you and we will scope what is available for your setup and region.

Do you publish release dates?add

Not for capabilities in development. This page shows each capability’s current status and is updated as things move to production. The date under the heading is when the statuses were last reviewed.

Tell us which capability you need first

A platform review walks through what is live today and scopes what can be switched on for your agency, in your region.
